Beginner’s Class to level 1 & Yin Yoga
Yoga is very personal practice and an individual journey for everyone who steps onto the mat . Everyone has their reason. Some people use it as a form of exercise, for some it is a time of introspection and meditation and others as a form of social enrichment. No matter what gets you on the mat, remember it is an uplifting practice that promotes physical health and mental well being.
Beginner’s & level 1 series :
The classes give you a good foundation with introduction to basic yoga postures , breathing techniques and overall personal awareness.
The intention for this practice is found through discovery, exploration and awareness of the inner body. While attention is placed on alignment, and working deeply into the postures , the inspiration comes from with in you : the student…allowing your yoga practice to unfold as opposed to ‘mastering’ the asana first. All levels are welcome !
Yin Restorative Yoga :
Yin is style of Yoga that is slow paced. Asanas (postures) are held for a longer period of time from 3-5 min with full support of the body with appropriate props to achieve full relaxation of the mascles. The sequence of postures meant to stimulate the channels of supple body known as meridians. Yin Yoga apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia and ligaments with the aim to increase blood circulation in the joints and improving flexibility . Yin is suitable for all level students from total beginners to level two advanced students !
